Carriage House:

A beautiful cherry handcrafted staircase leads to a sleeping loft with an outside entrance and porch facing the lake giving you the feel of being in a tree house. Looking out through the 9 foot glass doors the picturesque perennial gardens and ancient trees consume your thoughts. You can relax in the spa overlooking the lake, complete with aroma therapy and gently massaging jets. The main room has a library-style seating area with refrigerator, microwave, large-screen TV, radio/CD player. There are charming antiques and silk draperies along with beautiful artwork adorning the walls. Each carefully chosen by renowned interior designer and “Larches” owner Rain Phillips. Attached is a private granite-tiled bathroom with a steam shower equipped with aroma therapy, music and television. A washer and dryer are also available in the unit.

Nantucket Room:

Blue and white Cowten and Tout wallpaper, a toile of whimsical characters adorn this classic island-style room. The bright white furnishings , beautiful nautical inspired artwork and accents of periwinkle evoke the clear blue skies and beach-like ambiance of Nantucket. The room features magnificent views of the pond and garden, There is an adjoining door and windows to the upper porch where you can rest in wicker rocking chairs and watch the sunset over the water. A lovely library seating area right outside the entrance door provides a quiet place to relax and enjoy complimentary tea and homemade breads and pastries.

The Loft:

One of the most interesting units at the Inn, is The Loft. It is your own personal spiritual retreat. This SoHo chic space starts with an entrance through a glass French door and up one flight of stairs to a “folly” that connects to a very long room with six skylights and a window overlooking the lake. This room has two retro-modern futons for sleeping and simple furnishings to create a space for meditation and relaxation. This room includes a mobile bar unit with a small fully stocked refrigerator, and a radio/CD player. It is beautifully carpeted to fuse cozy and contemporary. Step outside the room and you can climb another flight of stairs to the cupola section, where you can practically touch the clouds. There are windows on all four sides, providing fantastic panoramic views and an ethereal light that pervades the entire space. A comfortable chaise lounge allows for reading and relaxation.

Red Victorian Room:

This room is furnished with English antiques, a beautiful love seat, and comfortable wing chair with view of the garden. There is a beautiful hand-carved Victorian upholstered headboard and artwork that reflects a bygone era. A very spacious room with adjoining hallway, that features a library facing the pond, and second floor sitting porch.
